(May 21, 2013) Last night in front of a packed house at the Iris Lounge in McLean, VA, the crowd roared with applause when the cast of the “The Wiseguy Kitchen ‘Dinner with the Mob’”, concluded their two hour show. “Bad” Brad Berkwitt donned in black, with gold chain and pinky ring took the floor as “Tony Knuckles,” a former boxer/Mafioso character that makes up part of Vinny’s crew.
Berkwitt said that “working with such a talented cast and doing it for a live audience, was a night I will never forget. There were many patrons who took the time to come up to me after the show to say we loved it, and many wanted to take pictures with me, and the entire cast. Talented and extremely funny comedian David DiLorenzo, warmed up the crowd having them in stitches before we took the floor. Our next show is June 3rd, at the Iris Lounge. You will want to order your tickets now because they are already going fast.”

The Wiseguy Kitchen “Dinner with the Mob” follows the shenanigans behind the scenes and in front of the camera as a new cooking program films for the first time in front of a live audience. Except the reality star of this TV show, Vincenzo ‘Vinny’ Palazzo, aka The Wiseguy Chef, is a former mob boss trying to go legit. Vinny has traded in his old turn for surf & turf, but hasn’t quite been able to leave his old life behind. That’s because he remains surrounded by his former crew, who are employed to help run the show… and they aren’t as committed as Vinny when it comes to going straight. While Vinny tires to teach his patrons about the meal he is preparing, his gang causes all kinds of trouble – running numbers, selling stolen merchandise, and dividing the restaurant into territories for their “protection”. At least Vinny has his rock with him, Sophia, the street-tough love of his life. Except that Vinny likes the ladies and Sophia’s not happy about that and that’s why she likes her red wine so much! Vinny’s a good guy and he’d be better off letting go of everyone from his old life. But what’s he gonna do?
